Another awesome story! I can’t wait to read TJ’s story. I felt so bad for him in Merrit’s book. He needs his own happy ending.
Story: 8/10 Spice: 1/5 Spice Hierarchy: Open Door Narration: 4/5 We meet Tanner in Collision and Avoidance and get little snippets of his story. Where is brother Chase is the golden boy, Tanner is simply known as “the other brother” not quite measuring up the same way as his brother and being a bit of a grump. Charlotte is running from her past and starting over. She runs into Tanner. Both Tanner and Charlotte have to overcome some stuff to be together. It’s not easy for them but Tanner wants Charlotte in a way he’s never wanted anything. I was a bit sad while listening to this. Because I have no read Kristen’s entire backlist. After going her team 2 years ago and meeting her this was a bittersweet moment for me. 🖤
The book was good, Granata always writes good romance novels. A lot more of a heavier read than what a typical romance novel holds, so heads up in case you were hoping for a simpler passionate love story. Some spots felt rushed, but overall good book.
Chase was fine and all, but Tanner is perfection. He isn’t the other brother, he’s the better brother. Could not put this book down. Now I’m off to read T.J.’s story. What I would love is a book set ten years from now about Khloe. That would be amazing.
I loved this book. All the up and downs between Charlotte and Tanner made it such a great read. I can't wait ro read about Tj.
